Property valuation report under the WOZ (Valuation of Immovable Property Act)

Every year, the local authority determines the WOZ value of all properties. A property is ‘residential’ or ‘non-residential’. A ‘non-residential property’ is, for example, a business, shop, office, or a piece of land. To determine the value, we draw up a valuation report. How do you request a valuation report?

You can request a valuation report in various ways.

Property valuation report for homes

Apply for the property valuation report via the Online Tax Portal (using DigiD). This is possible only if the assessment is in your name.

Valuation report for residential and non-residential properties

Send an email to woz@leeuwarden.nl. Please state clearly:
- the property for which you want a valuation report;
- your name, address and phone number.
Send a letter to:

Call 14 058.
Go to the Town Hall in person. Take valid proof of ID with you. You will not be given the valuation report straight away. We will send it to your home address within a week.
