Subsidy Facilitation of voluntary organizations providing financial assistance
With this grant, we aim to provide financial assistance and support to residents and students at schools in the City of Leeuwarden. The grant applications will all be processed in order of receipt.
Conditions you must meet
- The application must be submitted 8 weeks before the start of the activity.
- The application for calendar year 2021 and subsequent years is to be submitted each year by October 1 of the previous year.
Conditions we adhere to
- The activity is aimed at volunteers working in financial assistance.
- The activity is aimed at volunteers working for the benefit of residents of the City of Leeuwarden or pupils at schools in the City of Leeuwarden.
- The applicant cooperates with the social district teams, the volunteer service point, the neighbourhood service points and other voluntary organisations within the City of Leeuwarden in the field of financial assistance, so that help is provided to citizens as easily and effectively as possible.
- New volunteers are offered training to give them enough information to provide residents with the right financial help and support.
- Refresher training is organised for active volunteers.
- Volunteers are given guidance with providing help and support to residents.
- A maximum grant of €1000 per new volunteer is available for recruitment, selection, matching, coaching, expenses and training of new volunteers.
- For supervision, expenses and training of active volunteers, a maximum of €500 subsidy is granted per volunteer.
