Middelsee

Middelsee is a new neighbourhood in Leeuwarden, south of the Van Harinxmakanaal canal. It will not be an ordinary new housing estate, but a true urban district with about 3,200 houses. It will feature green space and water, have a harbour and breathe the atmosphere of a typical Frisian water town. Several developers and construction companies are to build houses in Middelsee.
