Sustainable energy

The City of Leeuwarden has a ‘Duurzaamheidsprogramma Volhoudbaar’ (fully feasible sustainability programme) with three main topics: renewable energy, climate change and circular economy. We are working on a sustainable district and making homes more sustainable. Our aim is to maximise energy savings and generate energy as sustainably as possible. We also want to help make your home more sustainable. More information on subjects such as grants, tips, help from an energy coach and advice is available on the Energieloket Leeuwarden website.
