Room rental

A room, unlike a house, is not an independent living space. A room does not have its own toilet and/or shower and/or kitchen. These facilities are provided as shared facilities in the same home.

The ‘Hospitaregeling’ in Leeuwarden, involves renting out up to 2 rooms to up to 2 people in a property. The owner of the property, is the property’s main occupant. And at least 50% of the living area of the property, is occupied by that person.
