ESF subsidy
Under the European Social Fund (ESF) grant, Leeuwarden municipality has received grant money to provide equal opportunities for people. People struggling to find work will get support and training with this grant. There are also opportunities for pupils in Secondary Special Education (VSO) and vocational education (PRO).
Everyone can participate
The ESF grant ensures that everyone can participate and have a bright future. It makes no difference where you come from or who you are. This is not only important for the people concerned. It also contributes to a stronger and resilient community.
The City of Leeuwarden is the central local authority for the labour market region of Friesland. The City of Leeuwarden has applied for the ESF grant on behalf of a large number of Frisian municipalities and the PRO and VSO sectors.

- People not eligible for benefits.
