Learning from the Past grant scheme

Download and complete the application form Learning from the Past grant scheme. Send the form to the City of Leeuwarden. You can also hand it in at the Town Hall.

The grant is for activities at schools so that children and young people engage in conversation about:

• The history of World War II;
• The meaning of freedom and lack of freedom at school, in the classroom and at home;
• justice, democracy and freedom;
• Traditions of remembrance and celebration.

You can apply for a maximum of €500 per school.

You must give a clear description of the activity. You must also provide financial accountability.
