Harbours in Grou
Grou has 4 harbours where you can moor. They are Pikmeerhaven, Hellingshaven, Nieuwe Kade and Suderkade. All harbours are within walking distance of Grou’s town centre. Electricity and water are available at the jetties.
Harbours and maps
Pikmeerhaven

- Pikmeerhaven is beautifully situated with a view of Pikmeer on one side. You will see the Oosterveld district on the other side. This district is a listed village landscape.
- The maximum marina box side at the end of the jetties is shown on a sign. You can use them to find the right place for your boat.
- You will find toilets showers in the harbour building next to the Theehuis and the sailing centre at jetty H.
- You can dispose of your waste in containers at various places in and around the harbour.
- You can empty your black water tank at jetty C.
Hellingshaven
- Map of Hellingshaven (PDF, 1.75 MB)
- Hellingshaven is a snug, sheltered harbour for about 40 boats with a maximum length of 12 metres.
- There are toilets at Hellingshaven in the summer months. Showers are available in the marine office or at the Muziekkoepel (in June, July and August) at Halbertsmaplein.
- The waste container is at a central location in Hellingshaven.
- You can empty your black water tank at the FRO quay in the Hellingshaven or at jetty C in Pikmeerhaven.
Nieuwe Kade

- Nieuwe Kade is an attractive mooring with views of Sint Piterkerk and the harbour cottages.
- The toilets are located at Hellingshaven. You can also use the Muziekkoepel (in June, July and August) at Halbertsmaplein. There are also showers here. You can also use the toilets and showers in the Pikmeerhaven marina office.
- There is a waste container on the jetty.
- You can empty your black water tank at jetty C in Pikmeerhaven or at the FRO quay in the Hellingshaven.
Suderkade

- Suderkade offers beautiful moorings. You can choose a mooring along the length of the jetty.
- The toilets are located at Hellingshaven. You can also use the Muziekkoepel (in June, July and August) at Halbertsmaplein. There are also showers here. You can also use the toilets and showers in the Pikmeerhaven marina office.
- There is a waste container behind the houses at Suderkade. You arrive there via the car park between two blocks of houses.
- You can empty your black water tank at jetty C in Pikmeerhaven or at the FRO quay in the Hellingshaven.
Winter harbour
- Since 1 November 2024, Pikmeerhaven, FRO Kade and Hellingshaven have also been open in winter.
- The winter harbour is open from 1 November to 31 March.
- In the winter months, there is a reduced rate (50% of the rate from 1 April to 31 October).
- In the winter months, you can use the facilities of the harbour office (toilets and showers).

Payment of mooring fees, water tourist tax and amenities
Mooring fees and water tourist tax
You can register at the marina office. You can also wait for the harbour master to come to you. The harbour master makes several rounds of the harbour and will be happy to meet you at your boat.
You can pay by debit card, credit card or the mobile banking app on your phone. You cannot pay in cash.
After payment you will be given a receipt showing all relevant details. Place this receipt at a place on your boat. where the harbour master can see it.
During winter months
You can pay via a QR code in period from November 1 to March 31. The harbourmaster is present in the morning is the harbour office on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Amenities
You are not charged separately for electricity, water and using toilets and showers. These amenities are included in the mooring fee. You cannot use water in freezing weather.
You can use the shower and toilet with an access code provided by the harbour master. If you pay via the QR code, you will receive this access code by e-mail.
