Having a passport or ID card delivered
Have your new passport or identity card (travel document) delivered. This can be done at any address in the Netherlands. When applying for your new travel document, mention that you want it delivered. Once you have made the application, you will no longer need to go back to the Town Hall.
When can I have the travel document delivered?
Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm. Saturday from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm.
You cannot have your passport delivered in the following cases:
- If you have made an expedited application.
- If you have reported your travel document as lost at least three times in the last five years.
- If you are registered at a correspondence address.
- If you live on a Wadden Island.
