Emergency reception for asylum seekers

There is a shortage of reception places for asylum seekers in the Netherlands. The Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) is therefore asking local authorities to take in extra asylum seekers. The division of roles and tasks of COA, the local authority and other stakeholders will be defined. This is all about liveability, safety, education, social and medical care in and around the reception site.

Heliconstate
WTC Expo

The WTC Expo is an overflow site. This is where asylum seekers stay for a short time if there are not enough sleeping places at other emergency reception centres in the Netherlands.
