Who determines if swimming water is safe?

Wetterskip Fryslân keeps an eye on the water quality. The water board (Wetterskip) regularly takes water samples to analyse them. The Fryske Utfieringstsjinst Miljeu en Omjouwing (FUMO) checks swimming water safety and quality.
